Welcome to the webpage of InfAct (Information for Action!), the Joint Action on Health Information. InfAct was a 36 months project funded by the European Commission. It built on the BRIDGE Health project and other initiatives in health information. The project was launched in March 2018. It included 40 partners in 28 EU and associated countries.
Through country collaboration, InfAct streamlined health information activities across Europe. It built towards a sustainable and solid infrastructure on EU health information and strengthened its core elements based on capacity building, health information tools and political support. Within InfAct, a lot of work has been done to set up National Nodes (NN) in several EU countries. Especially during the current pandemic, collaboration is of highest importance, particularly with regards to population health.
Health is a cross-border issue, recently demonstrated by the COVID-19 public health crisis. A structured European mechanism for COVID-19 exchange to organize and share information between countries is urgently needed, especially in the area of population health.
The 1st edition of the European School on Health Information has come to an end.
